When you've decided which course you'd like to study, please check you meet, or are working towards, our entry requirements, which includes English language. It's important you're aware of the entry requirements for your chosen course. If you don't meet them, you can still qualify by completing a course to prepare you for university at our International College. This focuses on English language as well as academic and subject-based skills.
Tuition fees and living costs
We know that studying overseas is a big investment, so it’s important you know all the facts. Your tuition fees will depend on your chosen course, plus you’ll also need to cover additional course costs, such as textbooks, and living costs such as accommodation.

As a university with a strong focus on your career prospects, we’re keen to support exceptional students from a variety of backgrounds to achieve their full potential. After you’ve submitted your application to us (and if you meet our eligibility criteria), we’ll invite you to apply for the scholarships we have on offer, which include international and country-specific options.
If you’re applying for a student visa, it’s important to check you have the appropriate funds as stipulated by UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) to cover your living costs during your studies. Our Visa and Immigration team is available to advise both our new international students and those continuing their studies with us.
Applying to UWE Bristol
With several options available to you, it’s easy to apply. You can apply online, or through our extensive network of agents and representatives both in the UK and overseas, or through our regional offices. Choose the option that suits you best. Getting an offer
1. Log on to the UWE Bristol Welcome website
After you’ve applied, we will send you an email so you can access the Welcome website. It’s important to check here regularly as this is where we will send any messages that we need you to action.
2. Accept your offer
You’ll find your offer letter under the ‘My letters’ tab on the Welcome website. You can then accept or decline your offer on the ‘My applications’ tab. Please note that you’ll only be able to apply for accommodation after you’ve accepted your offer.
3. Apply for accommodation
After you’ve accepted your offer, you’ll be invited to apply for your accommodation from March onwards. You’ll be guaranteed UWE Bristol accommodation as long as you apply before the June deadline.
4. Complete your visa information (if applicable)
You now need to complete your passport, visa questions and Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) assessment task on the ‘My visa’ page.
5. Upload your documents
Next, you’ll need to upload some documents onto the Welcome website. This includes your passport details and your final results. As soon as you have your results, please make sure you upload the documents.
6. Pay your deposit
When you’ve met your offer conditions and received an offer, you then need to pay your non-refundable tuition fee deposit, which you can pay via transfer or online.
7. Prepare for your visa
You may need a visa to study in the UK and if so, you can apply for a visa up to six months before your course starts. We recommend applying as soon as possible once you have received your CAS.
After you firmly accept your offer and meet your offer conditions, pay your deposit and complete all requirements listed on your ‘My Visa’ page from section 4, we will then issue your CAS in the summer before your course starts.
